Kedarnath Temple

This Hindu temple is located on the Garhwal Himlayan range near the Mandakini river and it is located in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is amongst one of the Hindu Char Dham Yatra (pilgrimage) temple sites and most popular temples in the country for Lord Shiva devotees. If we deep dive into the history of this temple, it is said that is around 3000 years old. A little away from Kedarnath is a temple dedicated to Bhaironathji who is ceremoniously worshipped at the opening & closing of Kedarnath Temple. The belief is that this temple protects this land from evil during the time when temple of Kedarnath is closed.
